Starts with fully matured Maker's Mark straight out of the barrel. But then it takes a bold twist. The first line extension to the Maker's Mark range since the '50s, Maker's 46 is essentially the standard expression with added spice. We add seared French Oak staves to the barrel, and then age it a bit longer - only in winter, when bourbon matures more slowly. The result is a bolder, more complex whisky.
