An Old Particular bottling of single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Port Dundas distillery, finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. It was distilled in July 2004 and left to age until March 2019, when it was bottled by Douglas Laing with an outturn of 413 bottles.
ABV: 48.4%
Nose:
Spicy ginger and blackcurrant, with waves of caramel underneath.
Palate:
Honeyed cereals and toasted pecans, joined by cinnamon gum and Mint Imperials later on.
Finish:
Tangy orange appears on the finish, along with subtle coffee touches.
